A company wants to monitor the vibrations of a production machine. To achieve this, an electronic sensor system is being developed that:

  * Processes AC voltage signals
  * Investigates the behavior of RC and RL circuits
  * Filters out unwanted high-frequency noise
  * Uses resonance effects to detect specific vibration frequencies

A constant supply voltage is available for the experiment. This raises the following questions:

  * How will the voltages change across the different components? 
  * How will the circuit current change when the component values are modified?

To answer these questions, different circuits will be investigated, starting with a series circuit and building up different types of filter circuits.
